Benvenuti and Stein Design Build is an award-winning, luxury home remodeler featuring in-house custom cabinetry, serving Chicago and North Shore for 48 years.

Our company’s success is based on quality craftsmanship and client care. We believe “Listening” is the most important tool in the business and carefully created residential remodeling must reflect each homeowners lifestyle and preferences. This is critical whether it relates to a simple new cabinetry project or the renovation of an entire home.

Geno Benvenuti, company owner, takes pride in the company's ability to blend old & new: the attention to detail of old master craftsmen with today’s ideas, style and technology. Many of the homes with the Benvenuti and Stein signature are from the early 1900’s and date as far back as 1855. The company has received numerous awards locally & nationally for their work, most recently WINNETKA HISTORIC PRESERVATION AWARD. Best of Houzz 2025 through 2012.

Geno has served on the board of directors for the Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse and has served as a board member on the housing and nominating committee for the Housing Options of Evanston. He is a member of TAB and Remodelers Advantage Business Roundtable Groups and has been invited as as judge for several national publications' design awards. The most recent was participation as a judge for 2016 Kitchen & Bath Magazine Design Awards.
