About Us

Winnetka Estate Buyers was founded by Keith Zaransky, a North Shore jewelry and antique dealer with 35 years of experience. Keith specializes in buying, selling and researching vintage watches, jewelry, diamonds, fountains pens, antiques and other rare objects.

His work experience includes opening his first antique store in 1984 at age 19, and also setting up at dozens of antique and jewelry shows both in the USA and abroad. He was in charge of North and South American consignments for a Swiss auction firm in the 1990's, and helped organize a watch show in London during the same time period. Keith has been actively buying and selling vintage watches since 1985, and also is the founding curator of the Sachs Pen Collection, the finest collection of vintage writing instruments in the world. He is regularly consulted by many reputable auction houses, collectors, and other experts.
