About Us

Caring In Action is the motto your township government lives by. We provide emergency financial assistance to local families, access to our food pantry and referrals to medical/mental healthcare offered through agency partners that are grantees of New Trier Township. We also help families remain together through day camp and before/after school care scholarship funds. The programs help working couples (and single) parents remain on the job or in school while their children receive licensed, local care. Our holiday program Caring Neighbors connects community residents with township staff, who work together providing toys to the children of pantry clients at the holidays.
