About Us
The mission of Hadley is to provide both practical and social/emotional help to older adults adjusting to vision loss, empowering them to adapt and thrive.
Hadley provides immediate, convenient and personalized learning at no cost. All Hadley programming is made possible by the generosity of donors. Through Hadley, adults with vision loss gain practical knowledge, build confidence and connect with peers and experts in the field. Hadley programs include Workshops that are interactive, engaging and instructive across a wide range of subject areas, including Adjusting to Vision Loss, Daily Living, Technology, Working, Recreation, and Braille. Workshop content is delivered online, by phone or by mail for those that prefer large print or braille; Discussion Groups that bring members together around areas of interest to build community and connections; and Hadley Presents Podcasts that feature experts across a wide range of subjects and explores topics unique to vision loss, from new technologies and medical developments, to cooking and art, to the emotional adjustment to vision loss.
