Yoga for teen athletes (and students wanting a well-balanced yoga practice) emphasizes physical and mental benefits, focusing on injury prevention, performance enhancement, and stress management. This class aims to improve flexibility, strength, balance and coordination while also fostering mental focus and emotional regulation. This class will incorporate breathing techniques and mindfulness practices to help athletes manage stress and develop a stronger mind-body connection. All classes will be led to music and of course include savasana. No prior experience necessary, Students will learn proper alignment, yoga fundamentals and pose names.
