Usher in the holiday season in Winnetka on Friday December 2, at 5:45 pm with the annual Winnetka Tree Lighting at Metra Park, 754 Elm Street, across the street from Winnetka Village Hall.  There will be a visitor from the North Pole and festive carolers in Victorian costumes, leading the singing as well as hot cocoa after the lighting ceremony. The switch will be flipped at 6 pm. AFTER, the lights are lit, please follow the Grinch to The Book Stall on Chestnut Court for a story.  Santa, Mrs.Claus and the carolers will make their way to Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, 538 Chestnut, Winnetka (NW corner of Elm and Chestnut streets) for more holiday festivities.
