More About Our Conversation Partner: Born and raised in Wilmette and a New Trier Alum, Ami Ankin is an actress and producer working in theater, film and television. As a voice-over artist, Ami can be heard on several promos ranging from Late Night with Seth Meyers on NBC to The CW, PBS and the WNBA. Ami produced the award-winning film, The Living Wake, and has worked in the New York theater world. She was on the producing team for the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, Kinky Boots. Ami is developing a film and stage project based on her family’s story, as her grandparents are Holocaust survivors.
