This inspiring memoir explores the lifelong effects of growing up in a dysfunctional family, while providing hope that no matter the circumstances, healing is always possible. Mr. Burton will be in-conversation with his colleague, Roni Moore.

Keith Burton is an award-winning public relations leader, journalist, and co-producer of the acclaimed documentary Dax’s Case, which explores ethical dilemmas and patient autonomy in the right-to-die debate. As founder of Grayson Emmett Partners, a Chicago-based leadership consultancy, Keith has spent more than four decades advising Fortune 500 companies and leading major public relations agencies around the world. A frequent lecturer on leadership and communications, Keith serves on the Public Relations Advisory Board at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and is a past chair of The Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations.
Keith’s new memoir, Shadows of Sobriety: A Journey of Self-Discovery and Healing a Family Legacy, explores his family’s struggles with alcoholism and the lifelong pursuit of resilience, faith, and redemption.
