Saturday Storytime at The Book Stall with Lisa Katzenberger and “I Can Do It Even If I'm Scared: Finding the Brave You”
The Book Stall (811 Elm Street in Winnetka) hosts author Lisa Katzenberger on Saturday, Oct. 26th at 10:30 AM for a story time featuring her new picture book, I Can Do It Even If I'm Scared. From the author of the beloved book It Will Be Ok comes a positive take on new experiences based on the real cognitive behavioral therapy technique Act As If. This event is free and open to the public. Recommended for ages 3 and up!
More About the Book: Have you ever been so scared that your tummy tumbled and your heart hiccupped and your fingers fiddled? You’re not alone! In I Can Do It Even If I'm Scared, Elephant, Cheetah, and Gator feel the same way. Join these three friends as they find their brave selves by first imagining themselves as brave! I Can Do It Even If I'm Scared is a great choice for parents looking for books on courage and facing fears. Kirkus Reviews says, "Every child needs a pick-me-up to feel an extra surge of courage: Here it is."
