The WLC North Shore is a club for all people who are looking for community, social activities, and opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to our North Shore community. Incorporated in 1874 as The Women’s Library Club of Glencoe, our organization is one of the oldest ongoing women’s clubs in the United States. From the start, our Founders’ mission was to contribute to improving the community through volunteerism and philanthropy. We continue to expand on this legacy through our annual WLC Community Grant Awards.
