Green is for Christmas: In-Store Meet and Greet with Esteban, the Green Crayon
Stop by Winnetka’s beloved indie store, The Book Stall (811 Elm Street), on Saturday, December 3 for a family-fun meet and greet with the character Esteban, the Green Crayon from Drew Daywalt's contemporary classic, The Day the Crayons Quit! Esteban, the Green Crayon will be at the store from 10:30-11:30 AM saying hello to fans and sharing a new story about his holiday adventures, Green is for Christmas. In this hilarious tale, Green Crayon is certain that he is the only Christmas color in the box. Of course, Red, White, Silver and Brown have something to say about that. Esteban will also be leading The Book Stall’s participation in Winnetka’s time-honored Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 2 from 5:30 to 6:00 pm to round out a fun holiday kick-off weekend!
More About Green is for Christmas: When Green Crayon claims that green is the only color for Christmas, other crayons let him know that there would be no Christmas without them either. No candy canes or Santa without Red, no snow without White, no bells or stars without Silver, and no cookies or reindeer without Brown! The crayons agree that they all need to come together to make Christmas special. This humorous Christmas story is the perfect stocking stuffer for fans of The Day the Crayons Quit and all kids who like to create!
