As its way of thanking area residents for their patronage, The Grand Food Center outdoor event that will feature an outdoor organic fruit and produce market.  There will be ample tastings of the grocer's "Grand Signature" items, including its dips, homemade salads, and bakery goods.  As one of the North Shore's top florists, The Grand will also offer sale prices on may of its floral items on display outside.

There will be a BBQ with complimentary mini-hot dogs and hamburgers, as well as visits from food-themed, costumed characters Chester Cheetah and Oreo Man.  Raffle prizes will be awarded.

 

• Popular funk band "Dick Holliday & the Bamboo Gang" will perform at Grand Food Center's 25th anniversary event in the Winnetka store's parking lost.  The band will perform from 2-7p.m.
