Join Friends of the Green Bay Trail and the Glencoe Park District at the Takiff Center for “Rare, Endangered and Local: Plants of Concern in Illinois,” a discussion of rare regional plants, how volunteer citizen scientists can help conserve them, and what the data reveals about them. Rachel Goad, Program Manager for Plants of Concern at the Chicago Botanic Garden, will discuss these issues, highlight the CBG’s work in North Shore ravines, and share opportunities to participate in the program.
