Flower Girls: A Story of Sisters (Storytime with Jacqueline Preiss Weitzman and Robin Preiss Glasser!

The Book Stall (811 Elm Street in Winnetka) is delighted to host sisters Robin Preiss Glasser and Jacqueline Preiss Weitzman on Wednesday, May 21 at 4:00 pm, as we celebrate their new collaboration, Flower Girls: A Story of Sisters, an endearing picture book about sisters, the gardens they nurture, and the people they'll grow into. More About the Author: Jacqueline Preiss Weitzman is the author of Gloria's Promise and You Can't Take a Balloon into the Metropolitan Museum, illustrated by her sister, #1 New York Times bestselling artist Robin Preiss Glasser, as well as the Superhero Joe series. Weitzman graduated from Vassar College, where she majored in art history. She has contributed to several New York Times bestselling books for children. She lives with her family in New York State.
 
More About the Illustrator: Robin Preiss Glasser has illustrated many acclaimed picture books, including the bestselling Fancy Nancy series, Lambslide, Escape Goat, and Grand Jeté and Me: A Christmas Holiday Book for Kids. She won the Children's Choice Award for Best Illustrator of the Year for Fancy Nancy and the Mermaid Ballet. Robin actually wore tiaras and tutus when she danced with the Pennsylvania Ballet. Now she happily spends her days in jeans, drawing. Robin and her family live in Southern California.
