There are two parts to a CCB session. The first portion of the session is called the "Active Breath" portion, which consists of a continuous 3 part breathing pattern. This portion of the session is set to loud popular music (from past and present) to help create a rhythm and propel you through 25ish minutes of circular breathing.
The Active Breath, is followed by the second part of a CCB session, "Rest and Receive," aka the savasana of CCB. Together, the Active Breath and Rest and Receive helps to quiet your ego (i.e., the thinking part of your brain) allowing access to the subconscious and unconscious parts of the brain, which in turn can help root out unexpressed or unprocessed emotions and negative patterns, stored trauma, and decrease overall tension in the mind and body.
