When our computing hardware is pre-determined by our employer, we are relieved of the burden of making a difficult choice. However, small businesses and independent professionals don’t have that luxury. We have to make decisions about what devices to buy. To complicate matters, the lines between our personal and work devices are frequently blurred. For example, we may have an iPhone for personal use but you may run your business from it as well.
