Mystery author Ann Cleeves says\, "A love letter to country music and to Chicago\, but very much more than that. Nobody does strong women better than Rader-Day." Lori will be in conversation with mystery author\, Susie Calkins.  \n\n\n\nLori Rader-Day is an Edgar Award-nominated and Agatha\, Anthony\, and Mary Higgins Clark award-winning author. Lori lives in Chicago\, where she co-chairs the crime fiction readers' event Midwest Mystery Conference and teaches creative writing at Northwestern University. \n\n\n\nOur conversation partner Susanna Calkins writes historical mysteries. Her first series\, the award-winning Lucy Campion Mysteries\, is set in 17th century London. Her second series\, the award-nominated Speakeasy Mysteries\, is set in a Prohibition-Era Chicago speakeasy. She holds a PhD in history and works at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
