John Muno is Executive Director of the Winnetka Park District with responsibility for one of the most complex Park Districts in the North Shore. Serving all of Winnetka and parts of Glencoe\, Northfield and Kenilworth\, the District provides an extremely wide range of recreational program and services. The District has 26 Park sites\, five lakefront beaches\, two golf courses\, an indoor and outdoor tennis operation\, 6 paddle tennis courts\, an indoor and outdoor ice skating rink\, nine soccer fields and eight baseball fields.
\n\nMr. Muno has been WPD Executive Director reporting to the Park Board of Commissioners for over a year. He had 6 prior years in Winnetka both as Superintendent of Facilities and then Asst. Executive Director. John earned both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Public Administration. Just prior to joining the WPD\, John had 16 years in private sports-oriented
