DESCRIPTION:Vivid Art Gallery will host an art opening for its group show\, Nature Walk\, which will include new work by several represented gallery artists. The opening\, which runs from 5-8 PM\, is open to all and is free of charge. In addition to great art\, there will be refreshments\, including the gallery's signature "Monet Mule" cocktail. Live jazz will also be playing at the gallery to round out the evening.\n\n \n\nThe exhibit will be featuring six represented artists\, including Jane D'Angelo\, Lucie Phillips\, Angela Saxon\, Ron Parent\, Patricia Dolan\, and Brigitte Wolf. Each artist will be exhibiting work interpreting the natural world in their place of greatest inspiration. Combining both representational and abstract paintings in a variety of media\, the exhibit bursts with the exuberance of sea\, sky and land.\n\n \n\nSays gallery owner Cynthia Burr\, "This show gives a number of our artists a unique opportunity to showcase some of their new work. I also think that visitors will find this exhibit intriguing\, as it demonstrates how differently each of us experience nature and express its impact through art. \n\n\n\nAdding to the excitement that evening\, Leslie Stevenson\, who just opened a practice in Hubbard Woods\, will be at the gallery on First Friday providing tarot card readings.\n\n\n\nPlease join us on February 7 from 5-8 for the First Friday opening of this special exhibit.
