DESCRIPTION:THE WINNETKA CLUB\n\n	IS THE NEWLY ADDOPTED\n\n	NAME FOR THE WINNETKA WOMEN'S CLUB\n\n	\n\n	CELEBRATE THE\n\n	AWARDING OF SCHOLARSHIPS AT THIS KICK-OFF EVENT\n\n	CHARLES SCHWAB DONATES I-PADS TO WINNERS\n\n	\n\n	The Winnetka Club's inaugural event will take place on Wednesday\, June 1 at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 485 Maple Street\, Winnetka\, with a brief program which will consist of a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and the awarding of two scholarships. The Winnetka Club is the newly adopted name of the Winnetka Woman's Club.\n\n	\n\n	The scholarships will be awarded by Club President Jennifer Black. In addition to the cash scholarships\, each of the two winners will also receive an Apple I-Pad\, generously donated by the Winnetka Branch of Charles Schwab. Travis Hensley\, the Charles Schwab Branch Manager of Winnetka and Kenilworth\, will present the I-Pads.\n\n	\n\n	Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors of character and need\, living in New Trier Township or attending school in New Trier Township. For many years\, the Winnetka Woman's Club has had established scholarship funds. They are named in honor of Kitty Shen and Gertrude B. Neilsen\, models of community service and longtime club members who are now deceased. These scholarships will continue to be a key program of The Winnetka Club.\n\n	\n\n	An Open House with refreshments will follow the program. All are welcome.\n\n	\n\n	Phone for details 847-446-1830.
