DESCRIPTION:Live Music   Fireworks   Food   Beer/Wine   Kid's Activities   Ribfest & Pie Baking Contests\n\n\n\nCome to the annual Northfield Park District State Fair\, aka Ribfest at Clarkson Park for a fun time with your family and friends on Saturday\, September 8.\n\n\n\nLive music from 2:30 11PM with The Indents from 2:30-3:30PM\, SKYDECK from 4-5PM and Panic at the Costco from 5:30-7:30PM. Headliner Dick Holliday and the Bamboo Gang from 8-11PM.\n\n\n\nKid's entertainment includes inflatables and a D.J. from 5-8PM and bingo inside Clarkson Lodge from 6-7:30PM.\n\n\n\nVisit the concessions at the Cavallari Pavilion for more food choices this year including Hofherr Meat Co. ribs\, Taco Nano\, hot dogs and pizza from the Northfield Lions Club.  Beer and wine will also be available for sale.\n\n\n\nLocal grillers and bakers are invited to enter the Steve Soler Northfield Ribfest and the Pie Baking contests. Registration is mandatory. $10 entry fee through September 6/$15 day of event. Register online at northfieldparks.org through Thursday\, September 6. After this date\, contestants must register their entries inside Clarkson Lodge during State Fair between 4-5:30PM. No entries will be accepted after 5:30PM. All pie entries must be brought into Clarkson Lodge by 6PM and all rib entries by 7PM to be judged.
