Both child and parent (or legal guardian) must reside within the boundaries of New Trier Township. Both custodial parents or the child's legal guardian must be working (full or part-time)\, attending school\, or participating in a job training program during the hours of the child care program. Finally\, eligibility is based upon meeting specified income guidelines. Extraordinary circumstances will be taken into account.\n\nDocumentation that is required to complete the application process includes 2014 or 2013 income tax return\, two paycheck stubs for each parent within the last 30 days\, proof of residency (current lease\, letter signed by property owner or utility bill)\, verification of child's enrollment in program and total current program cost from provider.\n\nFinancial assistance for summer camp is available through the Township's Child Care Assistance Program for families with two working parents who are income eligible.
