DESCRIPTION:Registration Deadline: Thursday\, January 17\, 2013\n\nOpen to: Woodwinds\, brass and percussion grades 5-12\n\n\n\nDo you play a wind\, brass or percussion instrument and are you preparing for a recital or solo and ensemble contest? Prepare yourself for a great performance by attending the MIC Solo and Ensemble Contest Clinic! Play a trial run in a supportive\, learning atmosphere. The MIC wind\, brass and percussion faculty have been on both sides of the contest experience (performing and judging)\, and they want you to succeed! We will break into age and instrument appropriate groups for individualized instruction. An accompanist will be provided\, but you may bring your own. Please bring an extra copy of your part and the piano accompaniment.\n\n\n\nWorkshop Topics include:\n\n  Personalized tips for how to further polish your pieces\n\n  How to present yourself well\n\n  Combating audition nerves\n\n  What judges look for\n\n\n\nQuestions?
