DESCRIPTION:Bestselling author Roz Chast\, a New Yorker cartoonist since 1978\, will be the guest and featured speaker at the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District's One Book Two Villages events this fall. \n\nChast is the featured guest at a luncheon and book talk event  at 11:30 a.m. Friday\, Sept. 16\, at The Happ Inn\, 305 N. Happ Road in Northfield. Tickets for this event are $35\, and include a plated lunch.\n\nChast is the author of the graphic memoir "Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant?" the Library's 2016 One Book Two Villages selection. In this work\, Chast addresses the realities of what it is to get old in America today-and what it is to have aging parents today-with tenderness and candor\, and a good dose of her characteristic wit. One Book Two Villages is an annual celebration of reading and community.
