DESCRIPTION:Concealed Carry Forum\n\n \n\nThe Concealed Carry bill went into effect on January 1 allowing Illinois residents to apply for a license to carry concealed firearms in public.  Many residents and business owners in our area have been contacting our offices with questions and concerns about how the new concealed carry law will affect them. \n\n  \n\nTo answer these questions\, Representatives Robyn Gabel and Laura Fine will be hosting a concealed carry forum with representatives from the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence\, NRA Illinois\, the Evanston Police Department and the Cook County State's Attorney's office.  We hope this forum will give local business owners and residents the direction they need to abide by and understand the new law.\n\n \n\nConcealed Carry Forum\n\n  Tuesday\, June 24th\n\n6:30 pm to 7:30 pm\n\nThe Levy Center (Linden Room)\n\n300 Dodge Avenue\n\nEvanston \n\n \n\nSpace is limited.
