SUMMARY:Annie Barrows Presents "Iggy Is Better than Ever!" at a Book Stall Crowdcast Event!
DESCRIPTION:Attention fans of Ivy and Bean\, Ramona\, Henry Huggins\, and other beloved fictional kids!\n\n \n\nOn Wednesday\, October 7th at 6:30 PM CST\, The Book Stall\, an independent bookstore in Winnetka\, Illinois\, is proud to present a special online event featuring New York Times bestselling author Annie Barrows\, as she discusses her brand-new book\, Iggy Is Better than Ever!\, the second book in her series on the irrepressible Iggy. She will be joining us via Crowdcast\, a platform similar to Zoom. Register for this free event HERE. \n\n \n\nWe have hosted Annie live in the store in the past\, and trust us\, time with Ms. Barrows is time well spent! This program is aimed at kids eight and up\, and everyone who loves reading about rascally\, impulsive\, mischievous\, and good-hearted kids. (We are sure you are none of these except maybe good-hearted. You just like reading about rascals and mischief\, right? Right?) Think of some questions for Ms. Barrows\, because there will be time set aside for you to talk with her after her presentation. \n\n \n\nAbout the Book: One thing led to another . . .Have you ever heard those words? Sometimes it means "Things got better." That's not what it means in this book. In this book\, Iggy gets an idea--a perfectly fine idea--and then\, unfortunately\, the principal shows up\, and then\, even more unfortunately\, there's an incident with a basketball\, and then\, before you know it\, Iggy's flying through the air.\n\n \n\nHow did it all happen? It's really hard to explain. You'd better read the book.\n\nIn the second book in Annie Barrows's series about how causing a little bit of trouble can sometimes be a whole lot of fun\, Iggy almost realizes that the consequences of his actions can affect others. Almost.\n\n \n\nAbout the Author: Annie Barrows doesn't want to ruin this book by telling you what happens in it. But she really\, really wants to say that the thing in this book you will find the most unbelievable--it involves something green--that thing is TRUE! It actually happened to a guy she knows at the gym. And guess what. He still has it\, the green thing\, in a scrapbook. How disgusting!\n\n \n\nFor more information about this event\, please contact Robert McDonald\, events@thebookstall.com.
