About Us
The Counseling Center of the North Shore (CCNS) is a nonprofit mental health and wellness center. We serve people who live or work on Chicago's North Shore by providing individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, as well as couples and family counseling and therapy. Our clinical staff members are licensed professionals with graduate degrees in clinical psychology and social work and post-graduate training in a range of specialized areas and modalities. CCNS is an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna PPO, Aetna, and Humana. We also accept Medicare.
For self-pay clients, fees are based on a sliding scale determined by household income and the number of dependent family members.
